Wow, my first real Mother's Day on the other side. This is SWEET. I sort of got to sleep in. (Pulled a pillow over my head as my darling husband thundered through the house, wrangling the screaming baby, stubbing his toe and stepping in a puddle of cat vomit.) Then I got up and made cinnamon rolls and bacon for breakfast while my man got me a Sunday New York Times, mocha and gave me the most adorable card. He had Vin scribble inside of it. Wonderful.
Thinking of all you other awesome moms out there today. I hope you have a wonderful, restful day. (Made even better if you also get yourself some cinnamon rolls and bacon.)
