More Cuteness

Holy Maroney Macaroni Joney, I am TIRED. Eesh. Last night I got together with my friends Aisha and Candy for a couple of cocktails at the Minneapolis Barrio. Dios Mio. We had fun, and I thankfully didn't over do it too terribly. It's hard to get full on their food, but it is tasty. The tequila sugarcane shrimp were my favorite - well, my favorite after the Cuba Libre's. Oye.

I had to make sure I reeled it in, because we had a play date with my friend Heather - I've known her since we were four. Vincent got to meet another baby his age! Her adorable boy Harper is only a couple of months younger than my guy. It was funny that neither of them really cared too much about the other. I'm sure as they grow older that they'll get to be buddies.

It was also Vin's first experience with an exer-saucer. He loved it! I loved being able to leave him be for a little bit. Look! STAY! Good boy.
He could rule the world from one of these things. Look at that megalomaniac grin.

It was a great relief because yesterday he took one more figurative step towards walking. He was holding onto Matt and then slowly just let go and just stood there. Just stood there like it was nothing at all. Then he realized what he was doing and promptly fell over.

Again today, he would be holding onto my leg and then slowly let go and stand there for a little bit. It's INSANE.

After we got home from our little play date, Matt got some time to play with his boy. Somewhere in changing his diaper, Matt lost track of the jeans I had him in. When they came out, this is what I saw.

Twins! Goons. Hopefully, only one of them requires the diapers.

  1. I call my desk my exersaucer. It's got everything I need. Phone, computer, music, spinny chair, printer...it's the really expensive adult equivalent to Vin's.
