In that spirit, I thought I should post a few pictures of random things I've been meaning to share.
We took Vincent to the Ramsey County Fair last weekend. I don't know what I was expecting, except that I'd hoped there'd be... more. As it was, there was a really cool petting zoo.
Matt is big on goats. He hopes that someday we will live in the country and keep goats... there. Where we live... with the smell. Not to mention that I'm allergic to hay and hard work. We'll see how that works out for him.
Even though it's never going to happen. I have to admit, this is pretty cute.
There were also llamas!
This cracked me up - seen at a different street fair.
Wow, I'm glad they put that sign up. I was wondering, how amazing it would be to just happen upon Santa on your roof taking a knee? And God apparently answering? AND get a good picture of it?
I don't know where or when this is from:

I love the look on his face here. Clearly my child. He's eating and skeptical.

Matt & I spent the 4th of July apart this year. While I was with the boy in Duluth, he was in Iowa with our friend Seth. This is Seth. He's got two tickets to the gun show.
This is also the only picture Matt took all weekend that even remotely turned out. Apparently sleeves are frowned upon in Iowa (where they were supposedly going fishing. Who leaves the Land of 10,000 lakes to go fishing in Iowa? My husband, Babe Winkleman, that's who.)
Hopefully, this time, we've matured enough not to think baby and beer pictures are still so funny.

ReplyDeleteI love the new look. LURV. And, thanks for making it clear that it's a photo of your child with a beer can. I could've sworn it was a painting.
